The Taiwanese manufacturer of computer equipment and electronics, Acer, reported an increase in consolidated profit in the third quarter by 7.8% in annual terms to 65 billion 330 million Taiwanese dollars. Compared with the second quarter, the figure increased by 11.7%. The September figure increased by 2.5% both in annual and quarterly terms and amounted to 22 billion 920 million Taiwanese dollars. Significant quarterly results were achieved, primarily due to the growth in revenue from gaming products for the quarter by 74% and from the Chromebook line – by 49%. Revenue growth was observed in all regions.
