According to its statements, the net profit in the amount of 1 billion 601 million euros showed an annual increase of 66%. At the same time, pre-tax EBIT jumped 138%, having reached 2 billion 365 million euros. The growth in operating profit was also impressive - its figure rose by 65% to 1 billion 982 million euros. Revenues reached 21 billion 15 million euros, an increase of 11%. The decision of the retired CEO, Tom Enders, to terminate the A380 production program, which was unprofitable for the company, will cost 463 million euros. At the end of 2018, one-time write-offs and expenses amounted to 1 billion 100 million euros. Nevertheless, Airbus in 2018 recorded a net profit growth of 29%, adjusted profit - by 83%, revenue - by 8%.
