Consumer prices in Canada rose by 3% in July this year compared to the same month last year after rising by 2.5% a month earlier, according to the country's Department for Statistics. Compared to the previous month, the price increase in July was 0.5%. Food products rose in annual terms by 1.4%, housing prices - by 2.4%. Transport expenses increased by 8.1% for the year. At the same time, prices for clothing and footwear decreased by 1.5% compared to last year. The prices for gasoline have grown for the year by 25.4%.
