Axios announced the acquisition of Drive.ai, a manufacturer of systems for unmanned vehicles, by the American company Apple. The agency received confirmation from Apple of this acquisition, but the corporation did not disclose how much the transaction cost it. According to Axios, in 2017, Drive.ai was estimated at $200 million. According to analysts, Apple, which was preferred among many potential buyers, paid no more than 77 million dollars for this company. The American corporation informed the agency that the engineers of Drive.ai will develop the design and technologies. Apple has already hired them. Apple previously reported the plans to develop a drone driving project. The announcement of this transaction confirms this intention of the American corporation.
