The American corporation Apple, in the framework of the planned large-scale restructuring of the supply chain, intends to transfer 15-30% of its production capacity outside of China - to Southeast Asia. The company asked for an assessment of the consequences of such a move to the main suppliers due to the continuing tension in trade relations between the United States and China, Nikkei Asian Review reports. Apple has developed its successful business in China over the past two decades, where hundreds of thousands of skilled workers have worked for it. According to the company's website, today it has created approximately 5 million jobs in China, of which over 1.8 million are developers of software and iOS applications. Apple invited its key assembly partners to evaluate possible production locations outside of China.
