Canadian software maker BlackBerry reported the results of its fourth fiscal quarter, which ended in late February. Net income received during the earnings period amounted to $51 million, whereas a year earlier a net loss of $10 million was recorded. Revenues amounted to 255 million dollars, an increase of 9%. The implementation of the software brought the company a record $248 million. Its growth was at the level of 14%. Both figures exceeded market forecasts, helped by licensing and intellectual property revenues, which jumped 71%. BlackBerry reported that since the beginning of the year its capitalization has increased by 42.5%.
