This was announced to journalists in Brussels by the representative of the Federation of Belgian Enterprises, Peter Timmermans. The most economically developed and populated region of Flanders is expected to suffer the most from Brexit. Therefore, the authorities recommend companies in this region to reorient their business to new markets. The international consulting company Deloitte concluded that the economies of Germany, France, the Netherlands and Belgium would feel the most negative effects of Brexit. One of the main economic partners of Belgium is the United Kingdom, which accounts for about 32 billion euros of Belgium's exports.
