British company Dyson, producing vacuum cleaners, hair dryers and hand dryers, intends to build a factory in Singapore to produce its own electric vehicles. This company made an official statement. According to the plans of Dyson, the construction of the plant will be completed by 2020, and in 2021, the company will begin to produce electric cars. The company plans to spend in total 2.5 billion pounds for the new technology. As reported by the Financial Times, the Dyson team has been working on battery technology for about 20 years. The development of these technologies was also promoted by the acquisition by the company in 2015 of Sakti3, a startup from the USA, which produces batteries with solid electrolyte.
