Prior to his new appointment, Dominik Raab served as Minister for Housing. David Davis, who expressed disagreement with the plans for economic relations between the UK and the EU after the country left the bloc, wrote in a petition for resignation submitted by Teresa May: “The main policy direction puts us at best in a weak position in the negotiations, and, possibly, even in the unacceptable”.
