Profit per share exceeded $0.2 against a loss of $0.54 over the earnings period of 2017. Quarterly revenue was 0.2% more than in 2017 and amounted to $20.099 billion. In the summer of 2017, a merger was held between DuPont and Dow Chemical. The head of DowDuPont, Ed Brin, believes that the company managed to achieve high performance thanks to the merger.
