The value of the indicator has become minimal since June 2017. Analysts had predicted a decrease to 111.2 points. The decrease of the indicator has been observed for nine months in a row. Recently, uncertainty about the outlook for the world economy has intensified due to the intensification of trade disputes. In the industrial sphere, confidence worsened to 4.7 points from 5.6 points in August. In the service sector, the confidence index rose to 14.6 points from 14.4 points. The indicator showing the level of consumer confidence in September was minus 2.9 points, retaining the value of August.
