Consumer confidence in France improved in June to a 14-month high. Such data was published by the French statistical office Insee. The corresponding index was 101 points, having increased from May value of 99 points. According to economists, the index value was expected at the level of 100 points. The consumer confidence index in the country has been growing for six months. The indicator, which determines the assessment by households of their financial situation in the future, slightly decreased to minus 6 points, while the indicator of their attitude to the previous financial situation retained the value of May. Evaluation of this month by the French as suitable for large purchases increased by 1 point to minus 12 points. The indicator of the future standard of living in the country improved to minus 23 points, for the month it rose by 2 points.
