Italian oil and gas company Eni published a report on the results of 2018, according to which, its net profit showed an increase of 25% and reached 4 billion 226 million euros. Revenues reached 76 billion 926 million euros, rising by 8.4%. The report for the last quarter of last year revealed weak financial results of the company. Its net profit fell 4 times compared to the same period in 2017, dropping to 499 million euros. Annual revenue decline was 3.7%. Its volume fell to 20 billion 109 million euros. The hydrocarbon production index for the quarter also showed a decrease of 1%, while in 2018 it grew by 2% to 1 million 851 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day.
