Fiat Chrysler Automobile, producing cars, following the results of the third quarter, has reported that its net profit decreased to 564 million euros from 910 million euros a year earlier, which is explained by a write-off of 700 million euros due to problems related to diesel engine emissions indicators in the USA. At the same time, without taking into account one-off factors, net profit increased 2 times and amounted to 1 billion 400 million euros. Adjusted EBIT of 2 billion euros increased over the year by 13%. Revenues for the quarter reached 28 billion 770 million euros, rising by 9% and exceeding experts' forecasts of 27 billion 230 million euros. Sales grew by 3% year-on-year to 1 million 160 thousand cars.
