In Germany, the first economic stagnation in almost three years is expected. According to forecasts of the Bundesbank, the German economy in the third quarter could stop its growth almost to zero. The main reason for the stagnation is the expected 9% reduction in production in the automotive industry, which will lead to a decrease in total production by 1.5%. Basically, the weakening of production in the sector is associated with the introduction of new rules for testing harmful emissions into the atmosphere. In the past quarter, growth in the construction sector was also weakening. A short-term stagnation in the third quarter was also reported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Germany, which, nevertheless, expects the acceleration of growth in the next quarter.
