The French government is preparing to sell stakes in a number of state-owned companies. These are the energy company Engie, the operator of Parisian airports groups ADP and the state lottery Francaise des Jeux. France expects to raise up to 15 billion euros from the sale of shares of these companies. According to French Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Mear in an interview with Les Echos, a bill on such partial privatization will be submitted to the Cabinet on June 18 and will pass through parliament by early 2019. The bill should amend the current legislation defining the minimum share of the state's participation for the ADP at 50%, for Engie - at a third of the voting shares, since at the moment the French government controls 50.6% of ADP and 24.1% of Engie.
