In March 2018, wholesale sales in Canada grew by 1.1% to 62 billion 800 million US dollars after a decline in February. Without taking into account the subsector of cars and spare parts, where the biggest increase was recorded, wholesale sales increased by 0.2%. Sales growth was observed in 4 out of 7 subsectors. Sales in the subsector of vehicles and parts increased by 5% to 11 billion 800 million US dollars after three months of decline. The subsector of building materials and tools increased sales by 3.4% and reached a record $9 billion 200 million. The subsector of personal and household goods grew by 0.6%, the pharmaceutical and equipment industry - by 3.6%.
