Harley-Davidson profit drops 24% as U.S. demand weakens
Harley-Davidson Inc (HOG) reported a 24% drop in quarterly profit on Tuesday as it was hit by a slide in U.S. sales and high costs from European tariffs.
The company said its net income fell from $ 113.9 million to $86.6 million in the third quarter.
Revenue from motorcycles and related products fell 4.9% amounting it to $1.07 billion.
