The net profit of the German energy company RWE in 2018 decreased 5.7 times to 335 million euros. During the earnings period, the adjusted EBITDA fell by 28.4%, amounting to 1 billion 540 million euros. Revenue at the end of the year was at the level of 13 billion 530 million euros, which is 2.7% less than the previous year. Last year, the company generated energy in the amount of 176 billion kilowatt-hours. This figure was 12.1% less than the volume produced a year earlier. According to RWE estimates, its net profit for the current year will show a slight increase compared to the figure for 2018, and the adjusted profit will be between 1 billion 400 million euros and 1 billion 700 million euros.
