Companies, securities of which are listed on the New York Stock Exchange, in the first half of 2018 increased their pre-tax profits by 11% in annual terms to 13 billion 700 million dollars. In the first half of 2018, the revenues of companies from asset management and account management increased 3-fold compared to 2009. The financial controller expects that the number of employees working in the securities sector in the state of New York in 2018 will increase by 1,700 people from 197,300 people in 2017.
