Following the results of the first fiscal quarter ended May 31, Canadian software maker BlackBerry posted a net loss of $60 million compared with a net profit of $671 million a year earlier. At the same time, the adjusted profit of BlackBerry was 3 cents per share, surpassing the forecasts of analysts who had expected a zero profit. Revenue for the period fell by 9.4% to $213 million, the analysts had predicted $208 million. Since the beginning of this year, the company's capitalization has grown by 4.7%.
