In the first half of 2018, the French fashion house Hermes increased its revenue without taking into account the change in the exchange rates by 11.2% in annual terms to 2 billion 853 million euros against the background of improved performance in all geographic regions and business areas. Sales in the leather goods segment increased by 1.5%. Realization of clothes and footwear increased by 10%, perfumes - by 14%. Revenues of Hermes in Japan decreased by 1.1%. In the Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan, the indicator grew by 7.4%. In France, sales grew by 8.2%, in the rest of Europe – by 5.3%. Despite the growing economic, monetary and geopolitical uncertainties in the world, Hermes expects an increase in revenues in the medium term without taking into account changes in the exchange rate.
