The second-largest producer of alcohol in France, Remy Cointreau, has reported on the results of 2017-2018, which ended March 31, announcing the increase in revenue in annual terms by 2.9% to 1 billion 127 million euros. Organic revenue growth was 7.2%. Sales of Remy Martin brandy increased by 7.4% and reached 760 million euros. The company reports that the highest revenue growth rates were recorded in the Asia-Pacific region. This was facilitated by sales in China, Singapore, Japan, as well as the revenue of a new unit opened in Malaysia. Since the beginning of trading on Wednesday, the price of Remy Cointreau shares has fallen by 2%. The company's capitalization amounted to about 5 billion 750 million euros.
