Irish low-cost airline Ryanair announced its intention to reduce the number of planes based in Dublin by 20% from 30 to 24 units for the winter of 2018. The company explained this step by lowering in the amount of armored tickets, which was caused by the recent strikes by Irish pilots, which harmed the image of the company due to the cancellation of flights. Ryanair also said that on October 28 it will cut 100 pilots and 200 crew members. Aircraft from Dublin will be redirected to the Polish charter unit Ryanair Sun, which will provide Polish travel companies with 10 aircraft instead of 5 in the beginning of summer.
