The world rating of the World Airline Awards in 2018 was headed by Singapore Airlines, according to a survey of the British marketing company Skytrax. The Singapore air carrier moved this year to the first place from the second one, which occupied last year, ahead of Qatar Airlines. The third place was occupied by ANA All Nippon Airways, the fourth – bu Emirates, the fifth – by Taiwanese EVA Air. Skytrax reported that China Southern Airlines is recognized as an air carrier that achieved the greatest progress in 12 months. Lufthansa remained the best in Europe, Air Canada - in North America, Singapore Airlines - in Asia.
