Chief Executive Officer of the American company Terrafugia, Chris Jaran, announced the start of collecting pre-orders for the world's first flying car in October. Deliveries to customers of this hybrid gasoline-electric flying device, accommodating only two people, will begin in 2019. Terrafugia belongs to the Chinese automaker Geely. Xinhua News Agency writes that the first batch of new cars are planned to be sold in the US. Because of the high price, these flying cars are most likely to be used by businesses or transport companies. Jaran also said that in October this year another model of the TF-2 flying car will be introduced. It will go on sale in 2023.
