The deficit of the foreign trade balance of France in June this year increased to 6 billion 248 million euros from 6 billion 19 million euros in May, the Customs Department of the country said. Experts had expected the decrease to 5 billion 600 million euros. Compared to the same period last year, France recorded a growth of the trade balance surplus by 32%. In June, exports from France grew by 4.3% year-on-year to 40.92 billion euros, imports increased by 7.3% to 47 billion 177 million euros. As a result of the first half of the year, the negative balance of foreign trade in France fell by 3% in annual terms to 33.5 billion euros.
