The European Union does not plan to hold new negotiations with the UK to conclude another agreement on Brexit. This was stated by the head of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, which denied messages in the media made by a number of candidates to the British Conservative Party that negotiations with Brussels were resuming. Juncker reiterated his position on this issue unchanged. New negotiations with the UK will not be held. The head of the British Foreign Office, Jeremy Hunt, previously stated that the new version of the Brexit deal was needed. In particular, he talked about the inclusion of conditions in the agreement that would prevent the creation of a physical border between Northern Ireland and Ireland. Hunt insists on creating a new negotiation team, which will also include representatives from Scotland and Wales.
