The Franco-Dutch company Air France-KLM, Europe's largest air carrier, reported a 81.6% fall in annual earnings, or 5.4 times, in the second quarter, to 109 million euros, due to losses because of strikes. Operating profit decreased from 586 million euros to 345 million euros due to damage from protest actions of about 260 million euros. Without taking into account the damage from strikes, the indicator remained at last year's level. Revenue also remained at the level of 6 billion 625 million euros. Without taking into account changes in exchange rates, the indicator grew by 4%. EBITDA amounted to 1 billion 48 million euros, decreased by 18.9%.
