Huawei, one of the leading manufacturers of smartphones in China, in the first half of the year increased its revenue by 1% in annual terms to 325 billion 700 million yuan. Operating margin was 14%. The company said that “ensuring the security of the company's business, connecting more specialists and introducing cloud technologies to develop the network infrastructure” would remain its main priorities until the end of the year. The company will also increase “the use of artificial intelligence technologies and the Internet of things in its work and develop open innovative digital platforms for its customers”. Huawei did not provide data on operating and net profit.
