French oil and gas company Total reported an increase in net profit in the third quarter by 45% compared to the same quarter of last year to 3 billion 957 million dollars, which was promoted by the increase in oil prices. Adjusted profit was 3 billion 958 million dollars, an increase of 48%. Experts had expected a less significant growth rate – up to 3 billion 890 million dollars. Revenues reached 54 billion 717 million dollars, its growth was 27%. Production volume grew by 9% over the quarter, and over 9 months of the year – by 8%. From the beginning of the year to September, the company increased its net profit by 36% to 10 billion 314 million dollars.
