US President Donald Trump said that tariffs in the amount of 11 billion dollars would be imposed on goods from the European Union. On Twitter, the president noted that the World Trade Organization had decided on EU subsidies for the Airbus aircraft manufacturing corporation, which had a negative impact on the United States. According to him, the damage will be compensated by fees that Washington enters for the period until Brussels refuses to support Airbus. The list of goods from the EU, which are introduced tariffs, includes civilian helicopters and aircraft from the EU, including Airbus liners, their components, as well as a number of products such as olive oil, cheese, carpets and others. As the EU representative said on Tuesday, Brussels began preparations for retaliation on US subsidies for the Boeing corporation.
