Taxi service Uber reported a net loss decrease in 2018 by 26.6% to 3 billion 300 million dollars. In the fourth quarter, the company managed to reduce its net loss by 19% to $865 million. Quarterly revenue reached $2 billion 20 million, an increase of 25% from the same quarter a year earlier. The volume of food delivered by the company outside of China jumped by 31%, reaching $14 billion 200 million. Uber is planning an initial public offering of its shares. Therefore, the company publishes financial statements for the last few quarters, although, as a non-public company, Uber is not obliged to publish them.
