Britain's Justice Minister, Philip Lee, who did not support Brexit while a referendum, resigned because of the British government's Brexit strategy. As The Guardians writes, the minister dealt a heavy blow to the Prime Minister of Great Britain Therese May before the important votes in the parliament under the law on the withdrawal from the European Union. He said that the British government's Brexit policy is detrimental to voters. In a statement on his website, Lee wrote: “The main reason for my decision is the Brexit process and the desire of the authorities to limit the role of parliament in shaping the outcome of the vote that will take place today.” He urged London to suspend, deepen or cancel the process of Article 50, which formally launched the UK's withdrawal from the EU.
