Weekly wages increased by 3.3% for the year, taking into account bonuses - by 3.4%, the maximum rate for 10 years. The average earnings of the British rose to $680 per week. The proportion of British citizens receiving unemployment benefits and looking for a new job was 2.8%, or 1.16 million people. In December, there were 20.8 thousand more unemployed people receiving benefits. In November, the number of registered unemployed increased by 24.8 thousand people.
