Energy company Uniper reported a 31.1% reduction in net loss in 2018 to 452 million euros. Revenue amounted to 78 billion 180 million euros, an increase of 8.2% over the last year. At the same time, the company recorded a decrease in the adjusted EBIT by 22.4% to 865 million euros, which, nevertheless, is in line with its forecast. In a press release, Uniper notes that its financial goals for 2018 have been achieved. It is also indicated that annual indicators were affected by the write-off of several assets in Germany in the amount of 681 million euros. The current year’s Uniper goal is to achieve an adjusted EBIT of between 550 million and 850 million euros.
