Washington has concluded an agreement with the Chinese corporation ZTE, which provides the lifting of a ban on the sale of equipment of this company for the American companies, the US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said in an interview with CNBC. In April, the US Department of Commerce accused ZTE of illegal supply of American goods to Iran and banned American companies from selling equipment to the Chinese company for 7 years. The agreement reached on Thursday provides the replacement of the board of directors and management of ZTE within 30 days, as well as the payment of a fine of $1 billion and a temporary deposit of $400 million.
